The following is a presentation we were asked to make to the International Special Event Society Hong Kong Chapter on how event agencies or for that matter stand alone legacy events could develop an effective social media strategy.

Dance. Music and dancing are a fundamental part of the human condition we all share. We may not all be sensational at it but we all feel better doing it – alone and within a group. Not surprisingly when we gather the ‘tribe’ together for a meeting… an event… we’ve discovered that dance can be a really powerful and effective event tool in creating a sense of being in the ‘moment’ and shifting people on an emotional level – bring head and heart into play together.

We can’t wait to see the new iPhone but more so we can’t wait to see the difference in event delivery between Steve Jobs and Tim Cook – an opportunity for something new or an opportunity to extend and build on what already works. Interesting times. Oh… and we also can’t wait to see and feel and possess the new iPhone 5. Jus’sayin’…
