The following is a presentation we were asked to make to the International Special Event Society Hong Kong Chapter on how event agencies or for that matter stand alone legacy events could develop an effective social media strategy.

Recently we were doing some work for the Jack Morton Worldwide team in Hong Kong and enjoyed the following performer ‘discovery’.

The meshing between a rocking soundtrack, a sensational charismatic dancers, and some fabulous multimedia support – all translates into a really strong event performance with impact.

Dance. Music and dancing are a fundamental part of the human condition we all share. We may not all be sensational at it but we all feel better doing it – alone and within a group. Not surprisingly when we gather the ‘tribe’ together for a meeting… an event… we’ve discovered that dance can be a really powerful and effective event tool in creating a sense of being in the ‘moment’ and shifting people on an emotional level – bring head and heart into play together.
