Recently Air New Zealand found themselves in some hot water over an advertisement shot as a faux-nature documentary about Cougars and their younger prey. Some declared the advertisement was disgusting and degrading and promoted sexually predatory behaviour.

Reading the South China Morning Post, I came across a curious report that told of automatic teller machines in East London offering customers the option of Cockney rhyming slag as part of their transaction. Cool.

Many years ago the Academy Awards organization was extremely aggressive with the events industry in protecting it's image and specifically that of the Oscar figurine.

Yeah I am a fan of the Moleskine, without question or hesitation. I’ve fully romanticized the  writing process. And I know I have because what really rings my proverbial bell is the prospect of my Moleskines as functional art.

I suspect the popularity of the yellow legal pad and the Moleskine is the seemingly romantic connotations they associate with the act of scribing, scribbling,  writing, and creating. True but I do draw the line at quills.
