We are delighted to be named a Finalist in the Australian Event Awards for 2010. Our two esteemed competitors for the ‘Best Export’ award are David Atkins Enterprises and Maxxam International. We reckon that we are keeping pretty good company with these two. It is always nice to be recognised by one’s peers.

A quick post on an experiential marketing event staged for IKEA that if nothing else generated some major viral activity and online youtube hits (and this post I guess) but to be frank, I am not sure what the messaging point of it actually is. The premise… or as they put it – the ‘experiment’ was to release 100 regular cats into an IKEA store overnight and see what happens…

The Eventprofs Blog Awards are back for their 2nd year and celebrate our community and the thought-leaders who help to propel it forward. We are delighted to announce that FACTOR168 Creative Event Company, with the support of fans and supporters, was awarded the Event Industry Best Corporate Blog Award.

We are delighted… no… we are totally thrilled and humbled to be nominated for the Eventprofs Awards 2010 in the Best Corporate Blog category. These awards are the brainchild of Lara McCulloch who is the CEO of the special events industry’s highest ranked independent blog and is also the foundof the #Eventprofs on Twitter.

Surprisingly there have only been two major events ever staged within the legendary Angkor Wat site. A national event staged in 2002 with star tenor Jose Carreras – and eight years later with this memorable and awe inspiring corporate event produced by the FACTOR168 Creative Event Company.
